Container Uncontained

Burnay are porous, baked earth containers traditionally used for storage or cooking. They enhance flavour of the dish, and were essential in storing food items. Today, the pots are often used for decorative purposes, having been replaced by forever chemicals and more modern plastics but they continue to remind me of my heritage.
